99 silverado w/6.0 L engine starts and runs 3 seconds then shuts down. Replaced fuel pump and tried to run with help of carb cleaner with no change in situation. Has no codes stored. Will start right back up but still only runs 3 seconds.

Power the coil direct from the battery if continues to run-check and test the primary ignition wire/resistor back to the ignition switch

The Tbird is my personal car the one being worked on is in the description and is equiped with coil on plug system. Your fix is not feasible nor recommended.

My bad-check the fuel pressure if its within specs if okay test the fuel pump and oil pressure sending unit and also the computer controlled circuit of the fuel pump relay-
