Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 203,000 miles Do you
have a manual for 2001 lancer GDI engine? Where can I get the tool to buy to
check diagnostics fault on my car? Transmission seems to disengage and go into
neutral when driving although selector remains in drive position. Engine is GDI
engine. Is the transmission gear worn?
Answer: You can get a code reader or
a scan tool at any
auto parts stores. Transmission seems to disengage and go into neutral

Is the transmission gear worn? Could be the transmission control module/shifting
solenoids in the transmission.
