Question:    1996 Infiniti I30 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 133,00 miles you can smell gas fumes inside cabin of car when AC or heat is on. The smell is so bad that your eyes tear. There are no visible leaks and I would like to bring it into the mechanic but would like a heads up on what might be wrong. Thanks for your help

Answer:    fuel injector is leaking is my opinion. its the most common problem I've seen with this car.

Question:    1997 Infiniti I30 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 120,00 miles How do I change the fuel pump myself?

Answer:    Remove the lower portion of the rear seat and there is an inspection cover to give access to the tank unit. Most cars the fuel tank has to be taken out of the car. Before you remove the fuel lines, release the pressure at the Schrader valve (like on a tire) on the fuel rail. I strongly suggest you use an OEM (Nissan) pump
