MORE: Infiniti G35 Repair Questions

Question:    2004 Infiniti G35 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 39,620 miles I was told that my car needed brake pads on the front. In addition I needed to replace the Rotors because they could not turn them. Question: Does Infinity install what I call a wear bar. This is a warning device that is installed to warn you when your pads are about to do damage.

Answer:    I would say yes, since it's built by Nissan, and they use them...Get a second opinion if you are suspicious, and ask to see for yourself!

Question:   2003 Infiniti G35 6 cyl Two wheel drive Automatic 76,000 miles I am trying to locate the IAT sensor. I found a two wire sensor on the right side of the motor, in between the air intake and the motor, at the front of the side of the motor. Could you tell me if that is the right sensor?

Answer:   the MAF sensor is located inline between the engine's throttle body and the air cleaner box, if you take it off it will be circular with 2 wires in it. the IAT will be located on the intake manifold, but more likely in your case on the air cleaner box.
