Question:
2004 Honda Element Mileage: 65,000 My
Element's check engine light is on and it
failed when I went to get the smog
certificate for my registration. I need to
get this taken care of soon. What do you
suggest I do?
Answer:
Have your computer scanned for trouble codes
and see if you have an o2 sensor or a mass
air flow sensor that has failed. Once a
sensor is dirty, it does not read the
correct amount of air that passes by it and
may give the computer false information
regarding your engine management conditions.
