Car Repair Questions and Answers

Question:
2007 GMC Acadia Mileage
7,500 I was driving along
fine and the engine just
stopped running. I am
having it towed to the
dealer, but I just
wanted to know what you
thought.
Answer:
It sounds like the fuel
pump has failed. Fuel
pumps usually fail at
the most inopportune
times. Even though your
car is brand new, the
fuel pump can still stop
working properly.
Replacing your fuel pump
should be part of your
regular scheduled
maintenance along with
your timing belt and
serpentine belt.
