Chrysler 300 Car Repair Questions and Answers

Question: 1999 Chrysler 300M 3.5L V6  mileage: 93,000 My car at regular cruising speed makes a vibration in the front suspension that feels like a tire is seriously out of balance (feels like its coming from front passenger side), but I've had many alignments, tire balances, rotations, and brakes replaced but no matter what I still get this vibration. The faster I travel the vibration starts to go away. I've had this same vibration through two sets of tires so it can't be the tires. Also when I am slowing to a stop my car makes a wobble at extremely low speeds. It is not as bad when I apply the brakes but when no brakes are applied it feels like a rim is seriously bent so it wobbles or like I'm driving on a very bumpy road. My rims and tires are fine so it must be something else. Please help, thanks.

Answer: Those cars went through inner tie rod bushings like crazy. You can either get the entire tie rod or the aftermarket makes a replacement bushing.
