BMW 530xi Car Repair Questions
Question: 1994 530i BMW 150K 8 Cylinder,
The Battery,
Parking Brake & Seat Belt indicator lights have started staying lit on
my dash. They usually go out after 5 minutes but not always. What are they
trying to tell me? The ASC light also stays on.
Answer:
possibly the alternator is an issue. take a voltage
reading at idle and report.
Question:
I own a 530i, 2006 model BMW with 10k miles now. When I
stop at a traffic light, there are very noticeable vibrations on the steering
wheel. When I drive I do not feel the vibrations. This shouldn't be happening
with a new 60k car!! Does anybody know what is going on?
Answer:
That kind of thing is hard to diagnose without being in
the car to feel it. If I had just spent 60k on a car and the wheel vibrated, it
would back at the dealer until the problem was taken care of. engine miss or
mount problem comes to mind though
