I drive display system. The screen never turns off, it shows up grey with a little bit of blue around the edges. Is there anyway to really turn the screen off? I don't have navigation on my car and I really don't need the distraction of the LCD.
Answer: Even when off, the BMW LCD's don't show black very well, it translates into a deep grey instead. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do.
