Question: 2007 BMW 328xi Mileage: 15,000. My front brakes seem to be making a squeaking sound. I live in the mountains but, could the brakes be worn out already?
Answer: Mountain driving certainly will wear brakes out faster than usual, but you should have the brake pads checked for wear and to see if the calipers are operating properly. If they are sticking that could explain the accelerated brake wear and the squeaking sound that usually accompanies it.
