cyl four wheel drive Automatic 65,000 miles. I've found three, one side panel
drivers side, the other side panel passengers side, and one under the hood. I was
told that there is five of them, and I am looking for the one for the CD, Tape

supported by several fuses, under the hood, fuse 48; driver side, fuse
8;passenger side, fuse 9 if you have a factory dvd player installed its fuse 4
in under hood sub fuse box. there's another fuse box in the left rear of the car
but its not related to your current problem
Question: 2003 Acura MDX 6
cyl all wheel drive Automatic 54,000 miles Hello, my well maintained Acura
MDX 03' recently traveled through Canada and the Yukon Territory. Although my
manual states 91 octane minimum, I was forced to use whatever was available
through these very remote, areas... (unleaded with who knows what in it). Prior
to the drive I got 17 -18MPG city driving, now the best I ever see on my trip
computer is 11/12MPG. I am driving in colder conditions (30F), but I can't
imagine the cold air alone is the cause for a 33% reduction in fuel economy! I
took it into the dealership who scuffed at me when I mentioned it might be
fouling of spark plugs, and told me 12MPG sounds about right. (Not according to
my manual). My manual did mention something about using gas in Canada and
negative side affects. I have no knocking sounds. I have had the air filter replaced, what else can it be? What can I have looked
at when I take it in? Also, where I live, the best gas I can get is 90 octane,
not 91, is this ok?
Answer: There is no real reason to have to use
super unleaded fuel with computer engine management, not on an SUV anyway. Air
pressure correct in the tires? makes a big difference. Try replacing the fuel
filter and put a full load of super in it to see if the mileage changes.
Question: I
just purchased a 2002 Acura MDX with 55,000 miles. I love the car however, my car vibrates at 25 mph. If I take off fast
(0-40mph) it won't vibrate very strange?? while driving in residential areas I
can bet my life that my
car will vibrate, it last as long as I'm doing 25mph - it
stops when I hit 30mph. Help me please...
Answer: its
sounds like you have a front axle cv joint problem or a tire that is coming
apart, these problems aren't expensive about 200.00 for the axle and 70 for a
tire. Please check it out and get back to me.
Question: I have a
2001 Acura mdx 83K miles and the "srs" light came on and gradually all of the
controls on my steering wheel stopped working. First the cruise control, then the radio controls and now the horn? Any
suggestions as to what might be the problem?? Thanks Charles
Answer: Sounds like the "clock spring"
has gone bad. that is the contact plate between the steering wheel and the
column .
Question: Acura MDX 04. 46,000mls.
V6. When I bought this vehicle used, it pulled slightly left. We thought it was
an alignment issue. However, after the alignment, there was no improvement. Now
dealer says there must be a 'radial pull' in one of the
tires. What does this mean? What do you recommend I do? How
much should it cost to repair? I'll be happy to make a donation if you can give
me some guidance. Thanks. -Matt
Answer: Have you rotated the tires
since you got the vehicle? I recommend that prior to saying replacement of
tires. That way you can possibly forgo the tire replacement if it does not solve
the issue. Another line of thinking is that a brake on that side could be
hanging a bit.
