Since I have had the front struts replaced on my 1999 BMW Z3 there has been loud rubbing noise in the right front which occurs during acceleration and going over bumps. It sounds like a tire rubbing against the wheel well. This noise occurs mainly in cold or damp weather. When the weather is warm the noise does not occur as frequently. Could this possibly be caused by a bad strut or poor installation?
