lincoln mark VIII, 1994, 143161 miles, 4.6 four cam V8. We replace the cam sensor, ignition controle module, and the ECM computer module. The car is putting out 12 volts to the coils but there is no spark to the spark plugs. The car was emmitted wit burned insulation smells in the upper left motor compartmet by the firewall. We cant find the source of the burn smell, and cant figure out why the ignition system wont fire the spark plugs. The day befor the lincol was emitted to us the car would run verry rough when shifted into overdrive. WE don not think that both coils could have faild at the same time.
