A buddy of mine has a 94 Caprice Classic LS with the police package 5.7 V8 LT1 engine and we are thinking of rebuilding it. its at 17700 some miles and she still dose have a good deal of life in her but we would like to give her more. Only thing is we have never rebuilt an engine before I am pretty good with cars and can follow directions but just don't have any. some help there would be great. Also what all would we need to purachace to do this job right? I found this.

do find on page LT1 third one. are these realy all that good? and if so is that a good price? we dont want to rebore it or anything but we were thinking of haveing the engine block and maybe heads dipped for cleaning and painting them. and if there are any changed or upgrades that can be made to the parts to get better performance and life out of the engine that info would be great as well. thanks guys and I hope you can help.
