Transmission problem
2007 Pontiac G6 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 38000 miles

Hello when i am driving the car it humms and acts like it won't change gears, i got a diagnostic on it at the local autozone and it says the speed sensor has malfunction and the speedometer is not working, my question is do it seems like i need to rebuild the transmission or if i get a new speed sensor put on will it fix all my problems?
