REMOVAL FOR FRONT:
Inspect fluid level in brake master cylinder resevoir.
If brake fluid level is midway between maximum-full point and minimum allowable level, no brake fluid needs to be removed from resevoir before proceeding.
If brake fluid level is higher than midway between max.-full point and min. allowable level, remove brake fluid to the midway point before proceeding.
Rais and support vehicle.
Remove wheel.
Install and firmly hand tighten 2 wheel nuts to opposite wheel studs in order to retain the rotor to the hub.
Remove the brake caliper lower guide pin bolt.
Push disc brake caliper pistion into caliper bore using an old inner disc brake pad and a disc brake piston installation tool.
Without disconnecting hydraulic brake flexible hose, pivot the caliper upward and secure the caliper with heavy mechanics wire or equivalent. Remove brake pads from caliper mounting bracket.
Remove brake pad retainers from caliper bracket.
Thoroughly clean brake pad hardware mating surfaces of the caliper bracket, of any debris and corrosion.
Inspect brake caliper guide pins and guide pin boots for damage.

INSTALLATION FOR FRONT:
Ensure brake pad hardware mating surfaces are clean.
Install brake pad retainers to brake caliper bracket.
Install brake pades to caliper bracket.
Remove support and rotate brake caliper into position over disc brake pads and to caliper mounting bracket.
Install lower brake caliper guide pin bolt. (Tighten bolt to 26 lb ft. [ 35 Nm] ).
Remove wheel nuts retaining the brake rotor to hub.
Install wheel.
Lower vehicle.
With engine off, gradually apply brake pedal approximately 2/3 of its travel distance.
Slowly release brake pedal.
Wait 15 seconds, then gradually apply brake pedal approx. 2/3 travel distance again until a firm pedal apply is obtained.
Fill master cylinder auxiliary resevoir to the proper level.
Burnish pads/rotors by selecting a smooth road with little to no traffic. Then accelerate vehicle to 30 MPH (48 KM/H). Using moderate to firm pressure, apply brakes to bring vehicle to stop. Do NOT allow brakes to lock. Repeat burnishing steps until approx. 20 stops have been completed. Allow sufficient cooling periods betewen stops in order to properly burnish the pads and rotors.
