Engine Mechanical problem
2006 Pontiac G6 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

The key was left in the car ignition overnight by accident and the lights and air conditionning were on but not the engine, the next morning key was found at that position but with nothing on. There was extreme heat in the garage and now the car won't start, we checked the battery and it says it is charged but nothing in the car will turn on, please help.
