Electrical problem

I recently got my car stolen and when they found it was wrecked from the driver side, my insurance didnt want to cover it we decided to have it fixed out of pocket there was no front injuries to the car only right side passanger door were slammed in, but the driver's side air bags deployed and we are waiting for that part , well now its fixed but i cant get my car to start i got a new key programmed. is there any way that the car can get started without having the airbags in? if so what would need to be done?
