Engine Mechanical problem
2006 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 38000 miles

I have a 2006 silverado 4x4 4.8. My buddy has a new body style 2007 silverado Z71 with a 5.3L motor. He totalled it out and offered to sell me the engine very cheap. I was wondering how easy the swap would be or if i would run into ecu and wire harness trouble. Please give me some information on this matter so that i can decide if it is something i want to have done. Thank you
