Transmission problem
2006 Chevy Silverado 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 78,000 miles
I have '06 Silverado, I just recently got the slave cylinder replaced, and a new clutch assembly put in and resurfaced the flywheel. The problem I'm having now is that when I try to start off in first gear the truck shudders like it's going to stal, I know that it's probably me needing to get use to the new clutch. The big problem though is when I go in reverse, it does it even worse no matter how much gas I give. Note that it stop as soon as the clutch is all the way out. I was wondering if this is normal or if the shop that put the new clutch in used a lighter duty one or if they didn't replace something properly. |

EIther the flywheel was cut too far or the pressure plate is bad. My guess is the pressure plate.
Let me know what you find. Also, this is NOT normal. |
