Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2005 Pontiac G6 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 50000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
how do i check to see if bearings are bad, lots of noise not the tires or the brakes
move wheel in and out from the top and bottom of tire, if it moves then its bad. also most often the only way to tell is to road test. while driving down road see if the noise goes away or gets worse when turniong left or right at about 30 mph. if it does then its a bad wheel bearing. this is a rumbling noise you are hearing right? if its a banging noise over bumps then check the sway bar end links
