2005 Other Toyota Models Car won't start

Electrical problem
2005 Other Toyota Models 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 67000 miles

Without thinking, I used my key to turn on my alarm system before I opened the door to get out of mycar. The alarm system was activated and now I can't start my car. I tried everything my user manual suggested and still can't start my car. Any ideas?

What is your car model?

Is alarm system equipped with immobilizer?

Was the remote control operative prior to this happening?

What did you do to try to disarm the alarm?

Can the engine crank?
