Engine Cooling problem
2005 Dodge Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive Manual 41000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
engine overheats. runing the heater will cool it down. the radiator feels warmer on the right side (facing the engine from the front) than on the left. antifreeze was checked recently in the shop. radiator is full and reservoir is filled to line as well.
The radiator could be clogged up-it shoud be evenly warm across the radiator-try flushing it don't work. Replace the radiator or get professionally cleaned/gutted.
Before going through all the hassle regarding the radiator....I would throw in a new thermostat. It's a cheaper route to solve the problem if that is the issue. If it's "not" the issue, it only cost you like..12 bucks.
