Electrical problem
2005 Chevy Tahoe V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 63,000 miles

I was responding to another person that was having the speedometer not reading correctly. Never had the electrical smell though.

I have the exact same issue. Worked fine until 60,000. Started reading 40-60 mph off then would peg at 120. Waiting to get it into be looked at and started working fine.

Happened again and took it to the shop and they ran a diagnostic and said it checked out fine.

It started doing it again today
