i broke a plastic shifter componant next to the shift assembly!!! it holds the far left cable in and without it i only had 3rd and 4th gear. it had a spring on it as well. i would normally have 1-6 and revears. i wanted to know what it was called and about how much it would cost. thanks.

Not very sure which part you are referring to so just guessing it.

If it is for the mounting of the cable, then it should be known as the shifter cable bracket.
