2004 Saturn Vue 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 65000 miles

Hey thanks for taking my question. My moms Saturn Vue dashlights come on and she looses power. They ran it on a computer the code says to reset the onboard computer. Is that something we can do? I read about a body throttle sensor could this also be a problem?
