Suspension problem
2004 Saab 9-3 repair Question 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 31,000 miles
The dealership is recommending that I replace both of the front springs that are, apparently, rusty . when I looked at home, the springs appeared covered by a ribbed, rubber housing so I could not verify the extent of the rust. How can I verify this needs to be done? Should I ask them to put the car on the hoist and show me? They want $550.00 to replace these on a relatively low mileage car just past warrenty! |

yes, you are paying them to work for you so definitely ask them to show you the rusted areas BEFORE they ever begin ordering the parts and making the actual repairs. |
