2004 GMC Sonoma 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 60000 miles

When I try to fill up my truck I can only put .2 gal. in. Then some of the gas is blown out. I can hear the gas slowly draining down into the tank. I have taken off the rubber hose & taken out the flipper that was in the hose. I have also taken out the roll out plug. There is nothing from the gas cap to the tank to restrick the flow of gas. It is like the tank has not vent for the air to come out????
