Computer problem
2004 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 66000 miles

I have heard from some that I can pull the OBD codes by doing a key sequence and looking at the odometer. I have tried the on off on off on sequence from the older Dodges and it will not work. Is there a sequence for the 2004 model trucks? Thanks, Brian

what you need to do for p-code on 04 ram is simple. 1. hold the trip odometer down.
2. while still holding the trip odometer down turn key on.
the odometer will cycle through, and when finished the p- code will be present in the odometer section. that's it. good luck to all.
