Engine Mechanical problem
2004 Chrysler Sebring 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 82000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I had my engine rebuilt a little about 2 months ago. About 3 weeks ago the engine started to make a noise in idle or when the car turned on, like clicking. I went back to my machanic and told him of the problem. He advised that is was nothing to do with the rebuild, but the O2 sensor was the problem. He told me I didn't need to fix it. I told him to please fix the problem since I was embarrased to drive around with a noisey car. Whenever at a stoplight people would look concerned. I then called him and told him I was taking the car out of state, he had said the car is fine. A week ago I drove out of state and ended up breaking down the next day. I had to take it to a tow shop where they had diagnosed that the car's bolts to the flexplate where missing. I had a warrenty on the engine but since I was in another state and was on limited time, I had to other repair shop fix in. While in contact with the machanic in my state they never offered to have a tow or even tell me what I needed to do. Now they are saying that this is not they're problem and that since I already fixed the car, I do not have a case against them. Is this right?
