Transmission problem
2004 Chrysler Sebring 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 38000 miles

I recently purchased a Chrsyler Sebring convrtible and it has not given me any problems until about two days ago. I was slowing down to pull into a parking space and the car completely cut off. While the radio was still going the steering whell locked up and the car would not move. I had to take the key out and start the car up again to turn the wheels straight. i am going to take it back to the dealership because it is still under warranty. But what do you think the problem is?

Suspect crank sensor
And or idle air control valve
