Brakes problem
2004 Buick Rendezvous 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 35000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I own a 2004 Buick Rendezvous Ultra that has AWD. Last week the brake pedal started to give feedback and as the week ore on the whole car started to vibrate. The problem is especially bad from 40 MPH or higher. I took it to the used car dealer that I bought it from. I have an extended warrantee plan. They said that the front brake rotors were heavily grooved and that the pads were almost gone. They also said that the rear rotors were rusted and they were too thin to recut, but that the brake pads were okay. I had them replace the front rotors and pads (for $400, not covered by the extended warrantee). While driving the car home things were oday until I got over 40 and now the problem is even worse. Did they replace parts that had nothing to do with the problem? Is there a way to get my money back (charge card) so that I can apply it to the real problem? After I complained, the dealer told me to bring the car back so that he can look at it again and said that maybe it's my fault because I didn't have the rear rotors changed (another $231). I am thinking that maybe I should take the car to my local Buick dealer and find out what the real problem is. The used car dealer also supposedly drained the condensation drain because of water in the passengers foot well. The leak is now worse than it was before also. This used car dealership is well known and claimes to hire ASA mechanics, but I thenk that they really screwed me over. I don't have the money to fix a real problem, let alone pay for someting that did not fix the problem. Thanks- Paul
