Engine Performance problem
2003 Volkswagen Jetta 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive 42000 miles

What would cause limp mode on a 2003 vw jetta 1.8t? It was wrecked in front. And none of the lights worked. It was taken to a mechanic and lights rewired, There is something connected to the cooling system and the transmission.it looks like a water pump or an electronic valve. Is that a valve or something that needs to be plugged in?
It has a connector on it but nothing to plug into it.Is that an important device?there is a broken trany mount and that seems to move when it goes into limp mode. The air bag light is on, EPC light, check engine light a triangle with a exclamation in the middle of a circle?Ive reset the computer and check engine light & epc light went out drove fine then epc light came back on and then limpmode again.
I also got some codes from it-

P0300 B Random multiple misfire.

P2637 Torque management feedback signal (A)

conflict
The throttle position signal at idle in park trans 0
engine 20
conflict
trans coolant temp 33c
engine coolant temp 57c
