I am thinking about buying a 2003 Toyota Tacoma crew cab truck. However when I started the engine, it soon began to leak water near the muffler. Is this a serious issue? Would've expected condensation from the air conditioner to appear further up front. There was no odor. Should I be concerned about this enough to NOT buy the vehicle? It was not a large amount, just a really good drip.

for every gallon of fuel a vehicle burns it produce 1 gallon of water. that ends up in the muffler.

thers a weep hole in the muffler that when the water builds up it drips out.

if its coming from the muffler then its perfectly fine. if its just water.

hows the antifreeze level look?
