Computer problem

The check engine light is on after being reset more times than can be counted. The car never completes the drive cycle. O (oxygen sensor monitor), EV (Evaporative System monitor), and C (Catalytic Converter monitor) never run. They are always flashing on the reader. The Catalytic Converter, Air/fuel mix solinoid, the computer and both oxygen sensors have been changed with no apparent effect. The car feels like it is running OK, but the check engine light makes me crazy!

Thanks for your response, but the problem is that there are no codes. I have done the reset you suggested many times. The drive cycle never runs.

I am not sure how you reset the ECM previously, but I managed to get some info which you can try.

ECM adaptation
When clearing codes for A/F sensor, air control valve, TPS, and/or replacement of ECM, adaptation is needed to configure sensors.
With engine warm, all accessories off. Idle engine for 5 minutes. Then AC on for 1 minute. Then 1 minute with AC off.
Now adaptation is complete.
Note: readiness codes will be incomplete now. To set all readiness codes drive on freeway for 5 minutes at a steady speed above 55mph.

If it does not help, I would like you to post here the exact codes that you retrieved from the scannner.

What do you mean they are flashing on the reader?

When check engine light comes on, there must be codes stored, if not the ECM is faulty.
