Brakes problem
2003 Pontiac Bonneville 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 69,000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I changed the brake pads in the front and the rear.
Soon after the rear brakes started making a (howling noise similar to a bus) when the brakes were applied. Took it to a repair shop, and they suggested that I change the rear pads again. So I upgraded the rear pads. The noise went away, but returned within a week. It is extremely loud and embarrasing.

I am no mechanic, but perhaps your calipers are bad and are putting pressure on your brakes at all times. Do you have a lack of power? Did you bleed the back lines?
