Engine Performance problem

Hello~ I recently started having some trouble with the Emissions on my Altima, it started randomly jerking, and dying as I was driving it. I had it out on a diagnositics machine & the reading was that the Crankshaft Sensor and Speed Cntrl Sensor needs to be replaced. My ? is how difficult is that to replace, and is it something that I could do myself, or should I hire a skilled ASE Cert. Tech to do the work?
