Transmission problem
2003 GMC Yukon V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 47000 miles

my service 4wd warnng came on. at the same time the lights went out on the drive mode indicators. the vehicle was in 2wd at the time. I could not change it into 4high or 4low. I took it to the dealer and they said the modulator motor was going bad. For $500.00 and labor they can put one in. Will this repair my problem or our they pulling my chain. Not much faith in this dealer.
