Engine Mechanical problem
2003 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 70,000 miles

When starting my taurus, it idles at 400-500 RPM and is running badly, then quits. It does this on 2-3 more attempts to start the vehicle. Then on the next attempt, the engine just turns over...never fires. If I let the engine sit for an extended period of time ( 30 minutes to 1 hour ) the darn car starts right up and runs like a dream. It may run great for 1-2 months before the starting issue happens again.

I dont trust my car and I want to!
