Brakes problem
2003 Ford Explorer 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 95000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
My ABS light came on what does that mean? Also I just added more freeon and my ac works but on the driver side it kicks out warm air and now the other side is blowing warm air but the back is still cold.
ABS light is the anti lock brake system that help you give the ability to recover ther steering should the truck go into a skid. IT grabs and releases the brakes in a pulsating fashion. There are sensors that record the wheel speed and when any are not giving the same speed to the computer it can throw the light and sometimes give a false abs braking action.
When the light is on there is no longer a functioning abs system present although your mechanical brkes will still work.
Get the codes read in the computer and post them. OR take it to a professional shop that uses a hand held computer that interfaces with the trucks for them to diagnose it properly.
