My air bag light comes on intermittently.

I took it to the dealer and they told me the air bag needs to be replaced (for $900), and that is a minimum. Once the air bag is replaced, the first 'codes' will clear up, and then other 'codes' may come up - they need to replace the air bag first to get past those first ones.

Should I take it to another dealier for a second opionion?

How ofter do air bags 'go bad'?
