Engine Performance problem
2003 Chevy Silverado V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 66000 miles

I sudenly got a "reduced engine power" reading on my truck's dash readout pane. It began to be hard to start and when it did and placed in drive gear, it only went one speed and the accelerator pedal did not react at all. It went away, was fine but is back to that again. Does not always do it and I'm wondering what it could be. Thank you
