2003 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 114000 miles

I JUST GOT MY 03 IMPALA. ITS A 3.4L V-6 AND I ALREADY DID A TUNE UP..CHANGED MOTOR OIL, OIL FILTER,TRANSMISSION FLUID, AIR FILTER, PLUGS, WIRES, NEW BATTERY AND ALL OF THAT BUT I CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO RESET THE "CHANGE ENGINE OIL" LIGHT ON DASH. IF ANY ONE HAS THE ANSWER I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE THE HELP BECAUSE THAT LIGHT REALLY BUGGS ME.. I HATE SEEING THOSE LIGHTS ON MY DASH..

Hey i just got an chevy impala 2003, its july right now, im sure youve found a solution, but the solution is in the owners manual, i cannot remember how to, its some codes you have to press on the radio. I never read about hitting the gas3 times, sounds bogus, i suppose to got to close one eye and stand on one leg when you do that.

most impalas reset oil change light thru the radio, with radio off hold on/off button in till display changes then scroll up till oil life appears push on/off button until you hear beep and rest appears in display

I don't know what year manual you are using but on a 2003 nowhere in manual does it say to press pedal to reset anything

You were right. The radio worked for me. Tried the gas pedal and that didn't. I have the 03 with the 3.8 V-6.
