2003 Chevy Astro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 40,000 miles

about a year ago, the auto lock on the back glass hatch stopped working. All other locks work as advertised. The locking mechanism is not activating, whether i"m using remote, or the key in the hatch lock. I have a wiring diagram and had everything apart but I not sure were to start, and what powers the lock. please help.

If allothers work with the key fob, sounds like the actuator is ba. Remove panels to gain access to the lock assembly, use a test light to see if it is getting power when you hit the button on the remote or interior lock switch's
