2003 BMW X5 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hi all.I got a problem with a 2003 BMW X5.It got 4.4i V8 Engine.

The problem is; when the car is cold,I'm driving it until engine gets heat, the gear distances are getting longer.Gear is changing at 4000-5000 RPM(Like performance cars). What can I do?

I tried so many transmission brains but they didn't work.I changed the radiator's water and transmission oil cooler. It didn't work too.Can you help me please?

Thanks.

Have you considered that it may be a stuck piston in the valve body of the tranny?

Who replaced the valve body? Was it torqued correctly? The issue of which you speak can be due to an incorrect sequence in the tightening of the screws. Has the software been updated? Are there faults set? If so what are they?
