Engine Performance problem
2003 BMW 525 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 45000 miles

Engine light is on and the code saids the engine is running lean.

It is possible there is an intake leak and it might be at the boot from the intake manifold to the air mass sensor. Inspect the small hose that has several bellows in it that serves the idle air control motor that is just to the side of the intake manifold. the part# is 13-54-1-437-191.
