Electrical problem
2003 Acura RSX 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 47,000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
All the sudden my remote to unlock my car, is not working on the drivers door lock only. It works on the passenger and hatch, plus the alarm system. I can also unlock the door using my key so I do know the function of the lock does still work. Do you think this is just a short or wire that may have disconnected? The dealer said they would need to pull the door panel off to see what is going on, so they need it for a day. I'm just concerned about any hidden cost, because of it being just that lock I can't imagine it costing very much to fix it.

Hi rsxjackson,

If the other doors are still working, it most probably is the driver power door lock actuator or its wiring circuit.

Sorry I am unable to provide any costing.
