Brakes problem
2002 Toyota Sienna 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 135000 miles

I replaced the front pad yesterday, and when I pumped the brakes, they did not come to normal. Later rea;lized that I had a puddle of oil on the rear right wheel... After on ordeal trying to get the drum out, today I replaced the rea wheel cylinder (it was blown). I added oil to the can, and tried to bleed the system, but the cylinder blew again... What am I doing wrong, and why the same one, even though I have replaced it?

The pistons must have over travelled.

Did you do anything to the rear brakes before the first cylinder gave way?

Are the brake shoes sitting properly on the cylinder pistons?
Did you adjust the shoe to drum clearance?
Did you insatll the drums before pumping the pedal?
