Electrical problem
2002 Toyota Camry 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
I HAD A NEW BATTERY INSTALLED YESTERDAY AND DRIVING HOME FROM WORK AND SLOWING DOWN AT A STOP LIGHT THE CAR JUST DIED AND I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED HOME. IT WOULD NOT START. THEN THIS MORNING THE CAR STARTED AND I DROVE IT A SHORT DISTANCE AND IT DIED AGAIN AND WOULDN'T START. |

What do the battery cables look like. Corroded, Loose, Fraying? Is the alternator charging the battery? |

When it doesnt start. Is it a no crank no start, or a crank no start. Meaning when turning the vehicle on do you hear the starter turning over the engine? |

there is nothing. It doesn't even click. I do know what a car sounds like when it needs a battery and when you turn the key all it does is a rapid clicking noise. With this there is nothing. This car has always started immediately without hesitation. |

I would bring it back to where ever installed the battery. It seems to me like there is a loose connection, because it does it at random. If you need to diagnosis yourself. When it doesnt start, have someone crank it while you wiggle the battery cables |
