Transmission problem
2002 Saturn SC2 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 87000 miles

Howdy, I got a 02 saturn sc2, my question is about the slave cylinder. I just replaced the clutch and as we re-assembled the slave to the bell housing we noticed that plastic doohickey that fits on the end of the rod coming out of the slave cylinder is broken. The clutch isn't working without it. I'm searching for a new one now but can you answer, what is it's purpose???
